About Ponystars
Ponystars is the new online game for everyone who loves ponies! Breed, raise and train your own herd of Ponystars. It's FREE to register & play!
Ponystars are noble & innocent magic ponies who inhabit the Grasslands of Fairy Valley. Six different breeds of Ponystars live peacefully in the valley, watched over by mysterious Fairies. Fairies ensure that all Ponystars, even the Wild Ponystars who roam the Valley Grasslands, free and owned by none, are well cared for.
When you play Ponystars, the Fairies entrust you to collect, keep, train & care for up to 75 Ponystars in your own herd! You can build your herd by breeding and raising adorable baby Ponystars, or by buying and selling your Ponystars.
You can make your Ponystars more beautiful and unique by adding Special Traits! A wide assortment of Manes, Hooves, Brand Marks, Backgrounds, and exciting Coats are available, with new ones added every month. As your talented Ponystars earn Fairy Gold for you in the game, you can use Fairy Gold to buy Special Traits to customize your Ponystars. Other Special Traits can be purchased from the Market Place with Acclaim Coins.
Your Ponystars can also compete with other players in direct Challenges, in Tournaments, and in games, like Ponystar Blackjack. Your Ponystar might be voted the Most Beautiful, or might be recognized for completing the most Quests.
Answer the call to adventure with Ponystar Adventures! You and your able Ponystars will be enlisted to complete exciting and rewarding Quests. Travel to six strange lands, where Ponystars roam free! You might be asked to help Wild Ponystars in need, or to collect lost Fairy Treasures, or to uncover secret Ponystar legends.
Anything can happen, where Fairies reign! The great Grasslands of Fairy Valley are no exception. Mysteries swirl, like morning mist upon the grass, and ancient secrets spring forth with the magic waters of Lake Lumiere...

Tutorial Quests
Get started fast! Learn everything you need to know to enjoy Ponystars while you earn valuable Quest Points. With every Tutorial Quest you complete, you earn one Quest point, which will increase your standing for the Quest Platform contest. Simply click "Tutorial" on the menu at the left. The sooner you complete them all, the sooner you can start Breeding Ponystars on your own!
Ponystar Breeds
Earth Ponystars are the most steadfast and loyal creatures you will ever meet. Ponystars of this breed are even-tempered and brave of heart. Earth Ponystars have great patience and strength because they are forgiving and never take for granted the kindness of friend or a stranger. Feed them Hay and keep them handsomely-groomed with Bristle Brushes and Hoof Picks.
Air Ponystars are the most mystical and whimsical of the breeds. Count on these Ponystars to dream big and to have a competitive, energetic spirit. These excitable Ponystars can be relied upon for their creativity and cheerful optimism. Air Ponystars believe anything is possible! They eat Clouds and are kept sleek and fast with Feather Brushes and Hoof Picks.
Water Ponystars are as wise as the sea is wide. Perhaps their great wisdom comes from the magic properties of the waters of Lake Lumiere, where they dwell in the caves beneath Fairy Valley. They are quiet, thoughtful leaders, and both Fairies and Ponystars seek their counsel. Fairies trust Water Ponystars most of all, because hidden in the underwater limestone caves are many secrets of the Ponystar Masters. They eat Seaweed, and their sturdy coat of scales is maintained with Scale Brushes and Hoof Picks.
Sacred Fire Ponystars are valiant guardians of truth and justice. Tireless and fierce, they keep the peace and help to guard the entire realm of Fairy Valley. These Ponystars are great seekers and will go to any length to see that good triumphs in the end. Feed them Coal for strength, and keep their armor of scales gleaming and ready for action with Scale Brushes and Hoof Picks.
Love Ponystars are happy and mischievous. These generous, selfless spirits are caretakers of Baby Ponystars and the secret match-makers of Fairy Valley. When two Ponystars fall in love and marry, a Love Ponystar has been at work behind the scenes. They also have a sense of humor and sometimes like to play tricks on the Fairies, who are not always good sports. Love Ponystars eat Chocolate, and their fine Coat is maintained with Bristle Brushes. Make sure to use Hoof Picks, so they can quietly sneak up on unsuspecting Fairies.
Feline Ponystars are the most affectionate of the Ponystar breeds. They are compassionate and most likely to offer warmth and comfort on a dreary day. Feline Ponystars are also very clever and love to solve riddles and puzzles.
Aurora Ponystars are the rarest Ponystar Breeds. You cannot buy them and you cannot breed them. These mysterious Ponystars are the most noble of all, for only such a brave and true heart could endure the unjust exile imposed on these great Ponystars. Your only hope to meet one of these treasured Aurora Ponystars is to successfully complete your journey through the Grasslands Adventure Quests and unravel the mystery of the missing Ponystars of Fairy Valley.
Ponystar Profile Page
Each Ponystar in your herd has his or her own Profile Page which tells you everything you need to know about your Ponystar's status in the game, all in one place.
From this page, you can do all of the following:
- See Ponystar breed, birthdate, age in days, and gender (Mare or Stallion).
- Name or rename Ponystars.
- Check and improve Health to keep it close to 30 out of 30 Health Points.
- Check Level and Experience status.
- Check Skill Levels (Elegance, Speed, Magic).
- See the number of successful Challenges.
- See the Ponystar's Rating.
- See the Ponystar's true colors for Body, Eye and Mane, under Special Traits that might hide the base colors.
- Check the Breeding Status (eligibility, pregnancy, restrictions).
- You can also feed, brush and muck out the Ponystar, as necessary. The icons are gray when action needs to be taken.
- Train Ponystars to earn Experience Points and increase Levels
- See the Ponystar's Ancestry (parents, grandparents, etc.) and Lineage (any Ponystar-offspring) at the bottom of the Profile.
Daily Care & Feeding
Each day, your Ponystars need to be Fed, Brushed, and their Hooves need to be Mucked Out in order to keep them in good Health.
t's best to perform these activities when you first log on, so you don't forget. And, if you are interrupted, your Ponystars won't lose Health if care is not completed before you log off.
- First, make sure you have enough Feed, Brushes, and Hoof Picks before you begin. You can either check your Inventory from the main menu at the left, or you can go directly to the Marketplace, click on the "Care" medallion, and view your options. The number of items you already have in your inventory is shown in parentheses. "(4)" Then, buy the items you need for all the different types of Ponystars you have in your herd.
- Go to your Ponystar Profile pages by clicking "My Ponystars."
- Open each Ponystar Profile and perform the three actions: Feed, Brush, and Muck Out Hooves.
- You will also want to check Health Points at this time, to see your Ponystar's Health has dropped below 30 out of 30. Click the Healing Icon once per Health Point you wish to recover.
HINT: You can tell if a task has been done because the corresponding icon is gray and colorless until you have completed the task for the day.
Training
Train your Ponystars to be more competitive for Tournaments and Quests.
Your Ponystar gains Experience Points when you train. For every 100 Experience Points your Ponystar earns, it gains one Level, and you can add one Skill Point to one area of your choice: Elegance, Speed, or Magic.
Some parts of the Ponystars game requires Ponystars to have a minimum Level of Skill, and your Ponystar will benefit in Challenges, Tournaments and while playing the Grasslands Game.
To Train your Ponystars, go to the Ponystar Profile age and click the "Training" Icon. Watch your Ponystar's Health Points, though. Training is hard work and you may need to update your Ponystar's Health while training.
HINT: Slow and steady wins the race! Spend some time training each of your Ponystars a little every day, as part of your care routine. If you train one Ponystar A LOT, all in one day, you'll need to buy many Health Points and these Health Points become more expensive the more often you buy them in a single day. The next day, however, the price is re-set, so if you train a little everyday, your training will be more economical.
Breeder's Corner
You can increase the number of Ponystars in your herd in two exciting ways. You can breed and raise new Ponystars, and you can buy and sell Ponystars.
To Breed, a Ponystar must be a mature adult, which takes 10 days. Once the Ponystar is eligible for Breeding, you may match your pony with other Players' Ponystars, then watch the baby Ponystar Foals grow up into adult Ponystars. Click the "Breeding" option on the Menu at the left. All Breeding Activity is initiated by the Ponystar Mares (Females).
If you have an eligible Mare, you may visit the Stallion List to see what Ponystars are available for Breeding. Choose a Stallion to be the father of your new baby Ponystar and submit a Breeding Request to the Player who owns the Stallion. The price for the Breeding service of the Stallion is listed next to each eligible Stallion. If that Breeder accepts your request, then your Mare will become pregnant.
After a few days, you can start to look for your new baby Ponystar in the Nursery. Once the baby is born, you must claim it and add it to your herd within three days, or the Fairies will give the baby up for adoption to a the Wild Ponystars to make sure it is well-cared for. Be sure to Name the newest member of your Ponystar herd and feed that new baby well!
If you have an eligible Stallion (Male), check everyday to see if your Ponystar has received any Breeding Requests. If so, determine if you wish to accept the request. You receive Fairy Gold from the other Breeder whenever your Stallion is used for Breeding, and although you do not get to add the Ponystar to your own herd, a link to the baby Ponystar's Profile Page will always appear on your Stallion's list, at the bottom, under "Lineage."
To Buy Ponystars for your herd, you may visit either the Breeder, where an assortment of baby Ponystars can be purchased for Fairy Gold, or you can try your luck on the Black Market. Some of the Ponystars on the Black Market may already be mature, so you can find bargains if you look often. Either way, if you see a Ponystar you want, be sure to act fast; the selection changes all the time and you might miss out on the one you want if you wait.
HINT: The more similar to your own Ponystar the mate is, the more likely that your baby Ponystars will be similar to the parents. But if you want to mix it up colors and Breeds, who knows what kind of exciting new magic the Fairies will work!
Make your Ponystars Unique
Make your Ponystar more unique and beautiful with Special Traits!
When your Ponystar reaches maturity after 10 days, you can start to add Special Traits to make your Ponystar stand out. Click "Marketplace" on the Menu at the left to see your options. From there, you can shop for Special Traits by clicking the medallion for the kind of Special Trait you want to view.
You can "Try It" before you buy any Special Trait, to see how our Ponystar will look with the new feature. It's like playing "dress-up" with your Ponystars! Choose from:
- Manes: Give your Ponystars more flare with this colorful accent.
- Coats: Dramatically change the look of your Ponystar's Body with exciting colors and patterns!
- Brand Marks: Subtle decorations express each Ponystar's personality, or mark your whole herd with the same Brand Mark!
- Accessories: Fun items for your Ponystars, like ribbons and hats!
- Hooves: A distinguishing touch for your Ponystar.
- Backgrounds: Enhance your Ponystar's environment with interesting images that highlight your Ponystar's personality.
HINT: Make your Stallions stand out! Add Special Traits to your Ponystar Stallion to make him more "eligible" on the breeding market. If your Ponystar is more interesting, other Players will choose him more often for Breeding Requests and he will have more babies and earn more Fairy Gold for you.
Grasslands Adventure Quests
The Fairies have a secret! Though they do keep their solemn promise to watch over the Ponystars of Fairy Valley, they have also sworn an oath to keep forever secret the terrible truth of the rarest Ponystar Breed of all.
You and your Ponystars can begin to unravel this mystery right away in the Grasslands Adventure Game. Click "Grasslands Adventure" to start solving Quests and gathering the magical treasures necessary to solve the strange puzzle of the exiled Ponystars. You will meet strange and enchanted creatures along the way, some who wish to help you, and some who owe their allegiance to the Fairies. If you and your Ponystars are brave and successful, you may find and free the rare breed known as the Aurora Ponystars who have been secreted away, in exile.
You and your Ponystars must work together to solve the puzzles that will bring the Aurora Ponystars home to Fairy Valley, where they belong!
To be successful in the Grasslands Adventure Quest, you will need several skilled Ponystars of each breed to find a missing Aurora Ponystars. You will find six Maps to help you navigate all six Worlds where you will complete Adventure Quests. Each World corresponds to a different Breed of Ponystar and only that Breed may travel his or her own Map. Use your Quest Journal to track how many Quests you've completed and a "To Do" list of what you need to complete current Quests.
If you can bring the great Aurora Ponystars out of exile, a great reward will be yours!

You will find many ways to enjoy time with your Ponystars!
- Enter the Ponystar Drawing Contest to win Fairy Gold! You may enter once per month. All entries will win Fairy Gold. One lucky Winner per month will have their drawing posted in the Game and will win 1,000 Acclaim Coins! Scan your coloring pages and e-mail the .pdf to ponystars@acclaim.com to enter. Be sure to include your Name, Acclaim ID, Age and the name of your Ponystar in the e-mail.
- Once you complete the Tutorial Quests, you may continue to earn Quest points and build your herd when you complete Collector Quests.
- Enter the Tournament where your Ponystars can compete with other Players to earn Fairy Gold! You Ponystars can win spots on the Victory Platforms.
- Make Challenges to other Ponystars in the game.
- Print Coloring pages that feature different adorable Ponystars.
- Create Avatars of your own beautiful Ponystars to e-mail and print!
- Ponystar Blackjack is a game of skill & chance you play against Jojo Jumper.
Ponystar Community
Ponystars is an on-line community. Invite your friends to join in the fun! The Fairies make it easy to send invitations to your friends so they can have their own very own Ponystars.
You can form Stable Clubs together, send Breeding Requests to one another, Challenge each other's best ponies, and even propose marriages between your favorite Ponystars! You can also trade Messages and Chat in the game to trade tips.
Plus, when your friends join the game from your invitation, every time they spend over 200 Acclaim Coins in the Market Place, your account will earn valuable Fairy Gold you can use for your Ponystars!
On-line Safety & Conduct
As with any on-line activity, please make sure to follow simple safety precautions, in addition to basic courtesies:
- Be a good Citizen of Fairy Valley! As a courtesy to ALL Players, help make the Game Chats and Forums free from all mean or demeaning language, bullying or other inappropriate words, images, or content. This includes anything that would be considered inappropriate by most teachers or parents.
- If you find a problem in the Game, or another Player fails to follow the Rules of Conduct, please report it by sending a private message to the Game Master at ponystarssupport@acclaim.com. Always be respectful, courteous and brief when communicating with the Game Master or other Acclaim Staff. If you pester the Game Master or Acclaim support staff with issues or inappropriate requests unrelated to game play, or your account, the Fairies will become very grumpy!
- If you cause a problem for other Players, or pester the Game Master or Acclaim support staff for any reason, with inappropriate requests or content, the Fairies may swiftly remove you from the Game!
- Once you have Registered, for your own protection, NEVER offer, or ask for any Personal Information inside the Game, even if you know the other Player personally and see them often! Your private, Personal Information includes your real name, your phone number, your real e-mail address, your parents' names, address, and the name of your school. Keep all this Information PRIVATE whenever you are on-line!
- If a Player in the Game ever asks for this kind of information, after you undergo the confidential registration process, please be sure to report them to the Game Master at ponystarssupport@acclaim.com. Likewise, you may never ask for Personal Information from any other Players. This is important, so please don't forget!
- Write down your Password somewhere safe and never give your secret password to anyone, except your parents! Not even your best friend! Your password is your very own Ponystar secret, for you and your parents.
Here are some other rules to avoid making the Fairies grumpy. Please review them with your parents!:
- You may not use advertisement blocking software or make changes to Ponystars to remove the ads.
- You may not use the Ponystar chat or forums to advertise non-Acclaim games or services.
- You may never misrepresent yourself as a Game Master or as an employee of Acclaim while chatting or posting on forums.
- You may not use software or game bugs to cheat! If you find a bug or a game weakness that can be exploited to cheat, please be an honest citizen of Fairy Valley and send a private post to the Game Master at ponystarssupport@acclaim.com telling him/her about it.
- You may not modify the game, game memory, or its incoming or outgoing packets in any manner.
- You may have more than one Acclaim account, but may not login to more than one account at the same time.
- You may not try to convince other players to break our rules or deceive them into breaking rules.
- Always follow our forum rules which are posted on the forum directory.
- You may not use names, text, graphics, songs or any content that would violate copyright laws. You may use, modify, and enjoy Acclaim content, as appropriate within the context of Game play, while on our website!

History of Fairy Valley
The Valley is inhabited by the noble Ponystars who roam the Grasslands. Six Breeds of Ponystars can be seen in the Valley. Some are Wild Ponystars, while other Ponystars belong to herds and enjoy the care of kindly Ponystar Breeders just like you!
The Fairies owe a debt to the Ponystars and so they make sure that the Ponystars are well-cared for. Long ago, they were not so kind. Fairies were once ruled by an evil Fairy King named Krimrot, who tried to enslave the sweet-natured Ponystars, who hardly complained. Ponystars were made to work hard, all through the day and into the night, without rest. They were not properly fed and their conditions were terrible!
A Fairy named Candelara had always been kind to the special Aurora Ponystars who were kept in the Fairy King’s stable. She brought them sweets and mucked out their hooves, so they stayed healthy. In return, they taught her how to Love, which, sadly, is not something that comes naturally to Fairies like it does to other creatures. They must learn to Love, against their own nature. In light of what she learned about Love, she became convinced of King Krimrot’s evilness and began to quietly teach other Fairies about love, and to turn them against the cruelty of the King.
The Aurora Ponystars, who are the most courageous of the Ponystar Breeds, decided that for the good of all their Ponystar brothers and sisters, something had to change! When the Aurora Ponystars rebelled against the evil King, their efforts were crushed! As punishment, the Fairy King immediately banished every Aurora Ponystar from Fairy Valley! He cursed them to be sent away to a "very dark place, impossibly far away."
And that is all anyone knew about the fate of the Aurora Ponystars.
When Candelara found out her beloved Aurora Ponystars had been banished from Fairy Valley, she become viciously angry. The sweet and benevolent creatures who taught her about Love had been taken away, maybe forever! Candelara turned immediately to revenge, even though the Ponystars taught her that revenge is not a good way to make things right. Fairies are stubborn. It takes the patience of a Ponystar to teach them to love properly!
Candelara led the Fairies and the rest of the Ponystars on a conquest of King Krimrot’s evil domain. Krimrot, who saw the end coming, tried to escape in a rowboat, with all of his Fairy Gold and shiniest precious objects. But the boat capsized and the evil King had strapped himself with Fairy pouches, loaded with more Fairy Gold. The Fairy King sank into the depths of the sea, never to be heard from again. And since Fairies cannot swim, we can guess what happened to him!
Candelara became Queen of the Fairies. The lessons in Love that she learned from the Aurora Ponystars stayed with her. She encourages all the Fairies to learn more about love, and her rule remains benevolent. The Fairies are now tasked with making sure that all Ponystars are treated with the kindness and dignity they deserve.
So, as a Breeder, if you mistreat your Ponystars, the Fairies might become angry with you. And you don't want to ever cross a Fairy! They bear terrible grudges, even though they are trying their best to change.
Candelara taught these lessons of love as best she could to her daughter, Osuna, who has become the greatest protector of Ponystars in all of Fairy Valley. In return for her kind service to them, the Ponystars are trying to help Osuna understand Love even better. But as noted before, Fairies are not naturally loving or optimistic, so the Ponystars have to be very patient with their Fairy Friend Osuna, as she learns love and patience for herself.
All the while, Queen Candelara worries about the fate of her beloved Aurora Ponystar friends. All of Fairy-kind acknowledges that they owe a debt of gratitude to the Aurora Ponystars. The Fairies hope that one day, the Aurora Ponystars will come home, so that the Fairies can ask for something they learned about from the Love Ponystars: Forgiveness. Forgiveness is said to be great tool of Love.
The Ponystars, too, wonder about their kin, banished to a dark place and homesick for the Grasslands of Fairy Valley. They gather clues and search for the truth. You can help, too, by solving the Adventure Quests on the Grasslands with your Ponystars! They are eager to find their lost friends!
